The Tourist club ‘Altair-Altai’ was established in 2001. Up to the end of 2003 we were present in the Internet on pages of the site " Tourism in Altai".  

      The time has come to create our own site in order to have an opportunity to tell more about the club’s life and to increase considerably the interchange of information. 

      We hope that the site will become a living thread of dialogue for our friends and all like-minded people.

      Working on creation of the site, we noticed that the name ‘Altair’ is frequently used in the web by other clubs and organizations. In order to prevent confusion we added the word ‘Altai’ to the name of the club. So, we are happy to present to you the Tourist club ‘Altair-Altai’.

      The main principles and tasks of our activity are:

- To be open for everyone who wishes to take part in our tours.

- To organize interesting active, sport and entertaining tours through the Altai Region,

  Republic of Altai and outside

- To raise popularity of the active tourism and the tourist areas of Altai

- To make the active touring accessible to everyone

      The Tourist club “Altair-Altai” is a group of people united by love to traveling and the Altai nature. There are people of different professions, ages and social statuses among us: students and pupils, workers and office workers, doctors and teachers and many others.
